Larry Staton Jr.
Larry Staton Jr., was born on June 9, 1973, in Willoughby, Ohio, and was raised in Eastlake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and his Master's of Arts in Applied Economics from the University of Central Florida, the latter of which he attended on a fellowship. While studying for his Master's degree, Mr. Staton worked as a paralegal for the law firm of Holihan Diaz in Maitland, Florida, where he specialized in trademark and copyright litigation.
Mr. Staton continued working full-time at Holihan Diaz while attending law school at Florida A&M University College of Law at night. Mr. Staton finished the four-year evening program in three and a half years and graduated third in his class in 2006. During law school, Mr. Staton was a student member of the International Trademark Association. After graduation, Mr. Staton continued to practice trademark and copyright law with Holihan Law and became a member of the Internet Committee of the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition. At Adams Intellectual Property Law, P.A., Mr. Staton focuses on trademark and copyright law and is a member of INTA.
