Jenifer Shahan McIntosh
J. Shahan McIntosh was born in Uvalde, Texas, and was raised in Brackettville, Texas. She graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology in 1996, and earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Baylor University School of Law in 2000. After law school, Ms. McIntosh clerked for the Honorable Harry McKee in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Ms. McIntosh is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and Texas. Her practice at Adams Intellectual Property Law, P.A., focuses primarily on the prosecution of trademark matters, trademark enforcement, management of trademark portfolios and litigation. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. McIntosh worked in New York, New York, where her practice focused primarily on biotech and pharmaceutical patent litigation, as well as trademark enforcement. Her tenure in New York has provided her with extensive experience managing large-scale, complex litigations, as well as insight into the business practicalities of IP enforcement and maintenance. Previous work clients in the luxury and global consumer goods industries also also helped Ms. McIntosh gain valuable experience in licensing and brand growth, including the utilization of several options to protect client's immediate and future interests with regard to intellectual property rights.
